Here's some interesting data from the Race The Train ride. It looks like I have a bit of cardiac drift happening. This is after about five bottles of fluid over the course of three hours. I wonder if the previous day's race contributed.
Lets see... I seem to be an aging athlete - at least according to some of my 25 year old friends, 46 isn't old, is it? I'm the custodial parent of three great kids, two daughters and the youngest is a boy. The triathlon bug bit me about 10 years ago when I was casting around looking for a new sport. My previous sport, Karate, just seemed to lose its allure. After15 years of karate there seemed to be more politics than actual learning and working out. Triathlon was perfect, it allowed me the technical aspects of technique, nutrition, and skills plus the physical aspects movement and better health. Oh and yeah, I get to get cool things like fast bikes and carbon bike shoes!
I’m some what of a computer geek but have resisted learning new methods of programming, does that make me more of a geek or less?

What's "cardiac drift?"
Another one wondering what cardiac drift is... but the graph looks cool, lol!
You're tired. We climbed a big hill. The altitude was kicking our asses.
Of course you had cardiac drift!
